Anders Lindegaard admits he is none the wiser as to who is the first choice goalkeeper at Manchester United.
Sir Alex Ferguson has mixed and matched between Lindegaard and David de Gea this term and the Dane suggests there is a feeling of the unknown regarding the number one shirt at Old Trafford.
"The tendency lately is that David has played," said Lindegaard.
"Unfortunately for him, he has been out with a (wisdom) teeth problem which I am trying to benefit from.
"I still don't see a clear picture on how things are going to develop throughout the season.
"It is not more than a week ago I read in a Danish paper that 'Lindegaard had lost the battle', which says a lot about how ignorant they are."
So far this campaign, Lindegaard has made six Premier League appearances as opposed to de Gea's seven whilst there has been one Champions League start for the former versus four for the latter.
