Almeria winger Pablo Piatti thanked teammates and coaching staff after his best moment since arriving in Spain in the summer.

The Argentine swooped home an equaliser for Almeria's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid and he declared afterwards: "We deserved something from the way we played. I'm very happy.

"I thank the coaching staff for their support and confidence. They and my colleagues helped me a lot. This goal is my way of thanks.

"I've shown I can play in this formation. In the first-half we did not achieve what we expected. But after halftime we stepped up our game."
