New Zealand-based data centre provider Revera has renewed its sponsorship of Wellington Phoenix, reports SportsPro. Under terms of the extended agreement, which was officially announced on Thursday 6th September, Revera will continue to serve as the team's back-of-shorts sponsor for a further two-year period.
Though financial terms of the deal were not released, based on agreements of a similar nature, Revera's commitment to Wellington is estimated to be worth US$75,000 annually.
"We are delighted to have Revera renew its support of the Phoenix for another two seasons," said Phoenix general manager David Dome. "Revera has staunchly supported the Phoenix for many seasons and are right behind some exciting initiatives that we are developing. Revera's innovative and expert approach to business computing perfectly fits the ideals of the club."
Revera general manager Robin Cockayne added, "Wellington Phoenix is an important part of Wellington's sporting culture and contributes to the city and New Zealand football positively. They're a good bunch to work alongside, we've enjoyed the journey so far and we're delighted to be continuing as part of the sponsorship team."
