Matt Phillips was left disappointed his Blackpool debut ended in defeat.

The Blackpool winger, 19 - signed from Wycombe - netted a brilliant leveller moments after coming on, only for Brett Emerton to nick it for Blackburn Rovers.

Phillips said: "On a personal note it's great but obviously it would have been better if we'd held on."
