Birmingham city co-owner David Sullivan says Kevin Phillips and Lee Carsley have big roles to play next season.

He said: "We want young enthusiasm, mixed with mature players like Lee Carsley and Kevin Phillips - we still think these boys have another year left in the Premier League so we expect big things from them next season.

"We have got some great players anyway but if we can add five or six talented or experienced players from abroad I think we will have a team that will compete with all the other teams in the division."
