Philippine international Etheridge grateful for Fulham support

Fulham goalkeeper Neil Etheridge is enjoying his football this season.

Philippine international Etheridge was released by Fulham last week to play in the Suzuki Cup for his homeland.

"I can't be thankful enough," Etheridge told fulhamfc.com. "They [Fulham FC] really did support me and they've supported me coming out here. They've given me permission after being on the bench for the last six to seven games in the Premier League.

"I'm always looking to improve my game and I actually think my athleticism, kicking and confidence have improved from being involved with the First Team in the Premier League."
