Serbian forward Veljko Paunovic is on trial with MLS club Philadelphia Union it has been confirmed.
The 33-year old has had an extensive career in Europe, mainly in Spain, but is now testing his luck in the States with the Union who have scored a paltry six goals in nine games but sit second on the Eastern Conference table.
Among Paunovic's former clubs are Atletico Madrid, Mallorca, Tenerife, Hannover, Getafe, Rubin Kazan, Almeria and most recently homeland outfit Partizan Belgrade for whom he kicked off his career. He last played competitively in 2008.
