Philadelphia Union striker Sebastien Le Toux is a shock target for Bolton Wanderers.
The Daily Mail says Bolton manager Owen Coyle, who hopes to fill the gap left by Gary Cahill's departure by signing Tim Ream from New York Red Bulls, welcomed Le Toux to the Reebok on Wednesday and could conclude a deal by the end of the week.
The 28-year-old, rated the MLS's best striker over the past two seasons, will begin training with Bolton today and could go straight into their squad if the clubs agree a fee.
