A recent report on The Brotherly Game suggests that Philadelphia Union forward Carlos Ruiz is set to return to former club Puebla FC.
The 31-year old, who is currently on international duty with Guatemala at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, joined the Union from Greek club Aris Thessaloniki in February this year but could already be on the move.
The report read: 'Puebla based Periodico Sintesis, a local news outlet arm of Periodico Digital, is reporting that the Philadelphia Union's Carlos Ruiz is all but set to join former club Puebla FC when the transfer window opens on July 15.
'Ruiz has been linked to multiple teams throughout Mexico and his native Guatemala, most notably Puebla and Estudiantes. Of the links, Puebla appears to be the most interested team in 'El Pescadito,' according to Periodico Sintesis.'
