Philadelphia Union young gun Jack McInerney has been named the MLS Player of the Month for April.
The 20-year old striker scored four goals in four matches during the fourth month of 2013 to be voted the best player in MLS by North American Soccer Reporters.
McInerney, who has netted six goals thus far, scored in the 1-1 draws with Columbus Crew and Toronto FC, and tallied a brace in the 3-2 triumph at DC United.
He joins LA Galaxy's Mike Magee on the player of the month honour board for season 2013.
