Philadelphia Union attacker Sebastien Le Toux is keeping his fingers crossed as he waits for injury results.
The 26-year old Frenchman suffered a knee injury in the Union's 2-1 US Open Cup loss to New York Red Bull on Tuesday and it was initially feared that it could be serious.
But Le Toux has come through the other side positively and now just needs the MRI scan results piece of mind.
"The doctors I talked to told me I am very lucky," said Le Toux. "Things could have been a lot worse. I would love to play Saturday, but I know it is foolish to rush into anything, so I will just wait and see what these tests say."
Le Toux said the tackle made by New York's Andrew Boyens wasn't intentional and was just keen to get back ot full fitness.
"He was really sorry, and I know it wasn't intentional," Le Toux said. "[Injuries] are a part of the game. Now my goal is to get myself healthy, so I can get back out there and help my team."
