MLS club Philadelphia Union are in talks with Spanish giants Real Madrid about hosting an international friendly later this year according to philly.com.
The Union are hoping to take on Jose Mourinho's Los Blancos in the World Football Challenge on Saturday July 23 which would end a week-long, three-match tour for the Spaniards.
Real have already confirmed a meeting with LA Galaxy at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on the 16th with the second match likely to be against Mexican club Chivas Guadalajara in San Diego four days later.
Now the Union want to get involved and it is believed that negotiations are ongoing but they need to get approval from Major League Soccer to shift their July 23 match with Seattle Sounders which is holding up the talks.
