Philadelphia Union have confirmed the signing of French midfielder Vincent Nogueira.
The 26-year old, of Portuguese origin, has joined the Union from French Ligue 1 club Sochaux. He will become an official part of Philly's roster upon receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
Nogueira, who will occupy an international roster spot, brings over 100 games experience of France's top flight with him to PPL Park.
"We're very happy to have finalized the deal with Vincent and are looking forward to him joining his teammates in Florida for preseason," head coach John Hackworth said.
"As a player who has captained a club like Sochaux for several years, we think he brings a lot of quality to our club individually and can be an important piece for our club going forward."
