MLS's newest franchise the Philadelphia Union are onto a winner with their brand new stadium PPL Park.
The Union played their first official match at the venue on Sunday - a 3-1 league win over Seattle Sounders - and it received rave reviews.
Union fans said they were nervous about the parking situation and the fact that nearby highway exits were under construction but overall the stadium received plaudits from those who attended to watch their team record an historic victory.
Union president Tom Veit said it was a great start for the fledgling franchise at their new home.
"On a scale of 1 to 10, for opening a building, we're at a 9. From what I've seen so far, I'm extremely happy," he said.
