Philadelphia Union are believed to be nearing the loan transfer of Nantes' Fernando Aristeguieta.
CBS Philadelphia suggests that the 22-year old Venezuelan striker will join the Union on loan for the 2015 MLS season with the announcement to be made official sometime this week.
It is believed that the Caracas-born Aristeguieta, who was a target for Philly back in December, will initially join as a Young Designated Player with the view to a permanent deal come seasons end.
Aristeguieta joined French club Nantes from Caracas in 2013 and has since scored 11 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.
