Philadelphia Union will take on German Bundesliga club Schalke 04 in an international friendly in May.
The Union will host the Gelsenkirchen outfit at PPL Park on May 9 making it a rare visit by a German club to the USA.
Schalke, managed by Huub Stevens, currently sit third on the Bundesliga table and boast such names as Spanish great Raul, Dutch ace Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Germany defender Benedikt Howedes, American midfielder Jermaine Jones and German-born Cameroonian midfielder Joel Matip.
