Zach Pfeffer has become the Philadelphia Union's first Homegrown Player.
The 15-year old has signed a deal with the MLS club to become the first player from the homegrown initiative to join the Union.
The promising Pfeffer recently underwent two weeks of training with German club TSG Hoffenheim and has represented the United States at both U14 and U15 levels of the US youth system.
Pfeffer becomes the fourth youngest player to sign a MLS contract, joining Freddy Adu, Fuad Ibrahim and recently signed New England Revolution Homegrown Player Diego Fagundez.
