Philadelphia team up with Farmers Insurance

Philadelphia Union have agreed a sponsorship deal with Farmers Insurance, reports SportsPro. The 'multi-year' partnership will see the group join the Union's portfolio of third-tier marketing partners, with signage inside the team's home PPL Park.

Farmers Insurance will also support Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer and the Delaware Youth Soccer Association, with involvement in soccer events throughout the community, and will be the presenting partner of The 90th Minute Radio Show on local station CBS Sports Radio 610.

Philadelphia Union chief executive and operating partner Nick Sakiewicz said: "We're proud to partner with a company like Farmer's Insurance. We both share a commitment to quality, value and customer service and this relationship will provide our customers and fans some unique opportunities and do great things for both of our organisations in the years to come."

"Farmers Insurance Group is very excited to start our multi-year marketing partnership with the Philadelphia Union," added Chris Frusco, the agency point director at Farmers Insurance. "We look forward to aligning ourselves with another strategic brand in the Philadelphia marketplace. The Union fans present a key opportunity for the local Farmers agents and we are thrilled to be able to support this passionate group and expanding franchise."
