Philadelphia Union's new home ground, PPL Park, has received rave reviews from fans after an opening for season ticket-holders on Saturday.
About 5,000 Union fans turned out to watch the USA's opening World Cup match against England at the brand new venue and it was praised by a number of supporters, including a member of the Union's fan group, the Sons of Ben.
It's a beautiful stadium. It meets or beats our expectations," said Philadelphia resident Joe Christinzio, 38. "It's fantastic. Beautiful turf, every seat is a good seat. You really can't ask for anything more."
There is a good feeling in the Union's debut season with the community getting right behind the team and now they have a home of their own, things are expected to get even better.
"Hopefully, it just grows and grows and grows for decades to come," Christinzio added.
