Phil Neville's changed his name to 'coach' - Man Utd's Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand suggests that Phil Neville is taking his job as Manchester United coach very seriously.

The former United and Everton midfielder is now part of David Moyes' coaching staff at Old Trafford where he now has the unenviable task of keeping some of his former teammates in check.

Ferdinand revealed that Neville no longer keeps in contact with the likes of himself and Ryan Giggs now that he has added responsibilities.

"We don't talk to Phil on first-name terms any more - it's 'coach'," Ferdinand quipped to BBC Sport.

"He's changed his number, he won't let anyone call him. I used to speak to him and text him and stuff but he won't have it any more - he's a changed man so far really."
