Former Everton captain Phil Neville says brother Gary Neville has helped him in his media career.

Gary was added to Sky Sports' punditry team in the summer of 2011 after bringing an end to his trophy-laden 19-year spell as a player with Manchester United.

"His career has been a big influence on me, the media has increased his profile greatly and I'm really proud of what he's done," Phil said.

"This is my first full year in the media so it's great to learn from my brother.

"He does some amazing work on Monday Night Football. Gary in my opinion is the best football pundit in the country at the moment."
