Liverpool legend Phil Neal feels they can win the Premier League this season.
The 63-year-old thinks the victory on Man United's patch will do Brendan Rodgers's side wonders.
"It was unbelievable. That has rocketed the belief to our present team that we can achieve," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"We probably didn't feel they could win like that at the beginning of the season.
"They've got to keep their heads down and stay level-headed, listen to the manager's instructions and keep cool in hot situations. And there's none hotter than at Manchester United.
"There are some six pointers coming up and at the end of the day, this is great for their beliefs.
"It would certainly be a great achievement to get European football - something which our squad and manager maybe took for granted during our days."
