Manchester United defender Phil Jones insists there's no panic over their lack of summer signings.

Jones played in defeat to Yokohama F Marinos yesterday.

He said on Tuesday: "I don't think the lads are too bothered who the players are that other teams are signing.

"It's totally irrelevant. We're just concentrating on ourselves and what we're about. We know what to do. It's interesting.

"Teams have got new managers but, if we're anywhere near what we were at the start of last season, then I'm sure we'll be fine."
