Referee Phil Dowd has been handed the reins for the FA Cup quarter-final replay between Chelsea and Manchester United on Monday.

The Red Devils and Blues played out a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on March 10 and will now face off again at Stamford Bridge on Easter Monday with Dowd set to officiate.

The match official has overseen one United match this season - the FA Cup third round replay 1-0 win over West Ham United - in which they were awarded a penalty and had genuine protests for a spot-kick against them waved away.

Dowd has been in charge of two Chelsea matches in 2012/13 including the 8-0 Premier League blitz of Aston Villa in December.
