Hull City caretaker boss Mike Phelan is eager for new signings to be made.

After victory over Swansea City, Phelan knows these are desperate times and after their victory the 53-year-old seemed to slip into advertising mode.

"If you've got the right character and you've got the right determination and you fancy coming to Hull as a football player, then we will have you," Phelan said.

"Let's get some in. Let's get some quality in that raises the standard."
