Martin Petrov was delighted with his form in Manchester City's 3-1 victory over Newcastle United.
"I know that City fans have been waiting for their team to play like this, so I'm happy that they like the way we are playing now. We have many good players here, we have a fantastic manager and everything is good for us.
"Newcastle were a good team, but it was great that we could play so well against them. All the team played well, from the defenders through to the striker so we're very happy with the win."
Both Petrov's goal and his assist were characterised by his speed down the left flank, and he describes the way he likes to play by telling City's website, "That's how I play, I have pace and I like to get into space. That's when I'm happiest, but I'm happy for Emile and Elano that they scored as well.
"It's important for me to play with someone like Elano, who can find me when I'm in space, he's a very good player. I'm really happy for him because we have both had some assists but now have the goals as well!"
