Petke questions commitment of New York Red Bull teammates

New York Red Bulls veteran Mike Petke has questioned the desire of his teammates after a dismal MLS season. Petke told the New York Daily Post: "I love being here, and this is where I want to be. And to look around and to wonder if certain guys love being here, it's sad and frustrating me. Maybe that's the reason I've been so on edge and stressed lately, because I'm proud to wear the jersey. It's the team that drafted me, it's where I'm from and it's the organization I hope I'm with the rest of my life as a fan, front office worker or coach. How do you get that across to other people?

"To sit back and go home playing with my kid and half of my brain while I'm building blocks or on a slide I'm thinking about how the hell can I improve this team? What can one guy, not even close to being the best player on the team do? I have no clue. I don't know how. And it kills me.''
