American midfielder Anton Peterlin has signed a one-year deal with English Premier League club Everton.
The 22-year old was linked with the Toffees for some time before signing and is delighted to have finally made the move.
"It's been a while since I've heard about (joining Everton)," he said.
"I have a chance to play and prove myself. It's been a longtime dream of mine. It's unbelievable in my opinion. I'm excited, and I'm emotionally on a high.
"It's cliché to say, but it really is dream come true, I've always aspired to play at the highest level."
The San Francisco-born midfielder said he was nervous ahead of his first training session but enjoyed it thoroughly.
"I was more nervous Monday, the first time out, but we had a good training session in front of Moyes and spoke to him at lunch," he added.
"It was different than American training, it was very directed at pressure, pressure, pressure. Very concentrated. Very organized. We did some technical work. It was a good mix. The two hours flew by.
"I was so in love with it, I enjoyed the level on which they played. I thought I played pretty well throughout."
Peterlin was on trial with both Chicago Fire and San Jose Earthquakes before accepting an offer to train with Everton in March.
