Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson is ready to re-sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino on-loan.

Berahino enjoyed a successful spell at London Road before Christmas, but returned to the Hawthorns after picking up a serious knee injury.

"Saido is still two-to-three weeks away from fitness," Ferguson revealed to the Peterborough Telegraph. "But there is a chance I could go back for him when he's ready."
