Peterborough eager to hang onto Man Utd's Tunnicliffe

Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson hopes to extend the loan of Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe.

Last season's Young Player of the Year at United started against Derby and performed well in a thrilling 3-2 defeat of Derby.

"Ryan loves it here and he has done fine," the Posh boss told The Peterborough Evening Telegraph last week. "We are working on keeping him here for the second half of the season. We might have to play him some more to make it happen though! My father is always asking me why he isn't playing, but he accepts my reasons."
