Peterborough United chief Barry Fry has revealed West Ham striker Freddie Sears will join Sheffield Wednesday on-loan next season.

On missing out on Sears, Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "He made it clear he was keen to come here, but West Ham have blocked the move and told him he has to go to Sheffield Wednesday."
