Peterborough chief Fry: Palace signing Gayle worth £25M in 12 months

Peterborough United chief Barry Fry believes Crystal Palace have landed Dwight Gayle for a snip at £8.5 million.

Peterborough's director of football reckons the striker, 22, will be a huge hit in the Premier League.

"In a year's time the boy will be worth £20m-£25m and people will be saying what a s**t deal it is for Peterborough," Fry said.

"Steve Parish - Palace chairman has had my pants down."
