Peterborough accept offer for Everton, QPR target Mackail-Smith

Peterborough United have accepted a bid for striker Craig Mackail-Smith.

QPR, Norwich City and Everton have all been linked with the Scotland international.

And a statement on the club's official website read: "The football club can confirm that a bid has been accepted from a Premier League club for Craig Mackail-Smith, but no decision will be made until he returns from holiday."

Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony told BBC Sport: "At the moment there is anything between eight and 11 clubs involved.

"We've got two concrete offers and when you get into an auction you always try and push those offers up."
