Pescara have signed Standard Liege midfielder Birkir Bjarnason on a 12-month loan.
Bjarnason only joined Liege this summer, signing a five-year deal after a Bosman transfer from Viking, but has been sent out to Giovanni Stroppa's side for the 2012-13 campaign.
Bjarnason has been doing preseason with Pescara.
