Pescara president Sebastiani has Stroppa shortlist

Pescara owner Daniele Sebastiani says they'll take their time to find Giovanni Stroppa's replacement.

Stroppa resigned on Sunday after his side lost 1-0 to Siena, but the Delfini President has conceded that he has got his shortlist down to three names, although he did try to persuade the outgoing boss to stay.

"I will talk to Stefano Colomba, [former Genoa Coach] Pasquale Marino and [one-time Cluj boss] Cristiano Bergodi," he told reporters." And then once I've spoken to them, I will decide.

"We will try and appoint a new ma tomorrow, but I don't want to make any mistakes.

"I think that some players are perhaps not convinced by the project - if that's the case they will either be in the stands or be sold in January.

"Stroppa is a serious person, and yesterday I tried to convince him to stay, but he told me that he has done all he can with this side."
