Pescara director Daniele Delli Carri admits they were close to selling Marco Verratti to Napoli.
Verratti made the move to PSG over the summer.
"PSG contacted us in the first days of June. If the French club hadn't arrived, then Verratti would probably have gone to Napoli," Delli Carri told Radio CRC.
"The Partenopei were in the lead compared to Juventus."
