Retired Italy international goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi has been linked with AC Milan.

Peruzzi is being mentioned as a stop-gap at Milan as Dida and Zeljko Kalac have struggled for form and fitness so far this season.

Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito said: "Angelo is a serious person and has said in clear letters that he would not go back on his decision. Also he still has that finger injury.

"A Peruzzi in full physical condition would have been a great solution, but I'm not sure he'll rethink his retirement."
