Perth Glory striker Branko Jelic was selected for the first time in tribalfootball.com'sA-League Team of the Week. The Serbian was also named Player of the Week for his two-goal outing against reigning champions Melbourne Victory, which the Glory won 2-1.

It was a week for imports as Newcastle Jets South Korean midfielder Jin-Hyung Song made his second appearance, whilst North Queensland Fury marquee man Robbie Fowler (England) and Sydney FC duo Karol Kisel (Slovakia) and Stephan Keller (Switzerland) also earned nominations.
