Perth Glory coach Dave Mitchell is confident of signing loan player Victor Sikora on a permanent deal. The Dutch winger has been with the Glory for the past month and has impressed in his time there and Mitchell is keen to sign him for next season from Dallas Burn in the United States Major League Soccer.

"We are still in negotiations to sign him up for next year," Mitchell said.

"I know him personally quite well and he has indicated that he wants to stay; we have offered him a contract and it is just a matter of him sitting down and going through it and by next week we should know."
