Perth Glory wait on Mols decision

Mols has left ADO Den Haag after the club's relegation from the Dutch Eredivisie and he is wanted by Perth.

The 36-year-old has been in Western Australia in recent days to look around Perth's facilities as he weighs up his next move.

He is due to return to Holland this week, but Perth coach Ron Smith is hopeful Mols will opt for a stint in the A-League.

"He said to me he'd like a slightly different football experience after plying his trade in Europe for such a long time," Smith told the club's official website.

"The club has got him out here to have a look at Perth and to have a look at the players, hopefully that will persuade him to come back and play with the team this season.

"Michael has been terrific since arriving in WA and is making the most of his time here to ensure that it will be a good fit for him and for the club."
