Perth Glory v Melbourne Heart preview

It probably can't get any worse for the struggling Perth Glory who have now slumped to seven-straight defeats and are now just three points off the bottom after leading the league after five weeks.

The 5-0 capitulation to Central Coast Mariners last weekend is their lowlight and you would think that whatever they produce tonight will be better than that.

Coach Ian Ferguson might have to make some changes to get back to a winning formula but I'm afraid it may not happen tonight as a hungry Melbourne Heart come to town.

The A-League's new boys have continued to improve in their debut season and with eight points out of a possible 12 in their last four matches, are clearly on the way up.

A solid 2-0 away win over the Newcastle Jets on the weekend will have them primed for another scalp away from AAMI Park and with the experienced Dean Heffernan back on the park, the Heart look like winners here.

Verdict: Heart 2-0
