A-League Perth Glory depart for Sydney today ahead of a grueling schedule which will take in five matches in three states in 16 days.

The Glory take on Central Coast Mariners at Sydney Football Stadum on Saturday night, as part of a double header, before returning home for a midweek clash with Melbourne Heart as they strive to overturn a six-match losing streak.

It is a vital run of games for the under fire Glory who have fallen from the top of the table to eighth where they are just four points off bottom.

It’s the Glory’s toughest stretch of games this season and will surely be a massive test for Ian Ferguson and his men.

The schedule:

Saturday - Oct 30: Central Coast Mariners, Sydney Football Stadium
Wednesday - Nov 3: Melbourne Heart, nib Stadium
Sunday - Nov 7: Wellington Phoenix, nib Stadium
Wednesday - Nov 10: Adelaide United, Hindmarsh Stadium
Sunday - Nov 14: Melbourne Victory, nib Stadium
