Perth Glory striker Robbie Fowler's hat-trick yesterday moved him to within one of the lead in the race for the A-League's Golden Boot.
The English star was back in touch in Perth's 3-1 win over Melbourne Victory, scoring all three of his side's goals as they turned around a 10-match winless run.
Fowler now has five for the season after the treble and is only a goal behind the leading pack which consists of Brisbane Roar's Kosta Barbarouses who scored the leveler in their 2-1 win over Melbourne Heart, Sydney FC's Bruno Cazarine who scored a consolation goal as they were beaten 3-1 by Gold Coast United and Adelaide United's Sergio van Dijk.
