Perth Glory's Fowler helping out Bury FC

Perth Glory striker Robbie Fowler is undertaking some coaching roles in his native England during the A-League off-season.

The 35-year old Liverpool legend is currently with League Two club Bury FC where he will help all the club's strikers at training and assist caretaker manager Richie Barker in the dugout for Tuesday's clash with Burton Albion.

Fowler begins at Gigg Lane on Monday and 'during his week with the Shakers, all the clubs strikers will spend time with Robbie sharpening their shooting boots for the final six games.

'The club are very grateful to Robbie for offering his help towards the club, and we hope that some of his talent rubs off on the players for the last month of the season.'

Fowler had a similar role with MK Dons earlier this season as he indicates his interest in the management side of the game.
