Despite losing nearly $4million this season, Perth Glory owner Tony Sage will remain committed to the cause.

The mining magnate will not walk away from the Western Australian club regardless of the fact he has lost millions and they finished second bottom on the A-League table.

He says that he wants to remain involved in the progress of football in Australia and is looking forward to bouncing back next year.

"I am fully committed to the club, and am very excited about the future for Glory and the A-League," Sage told Sportsnewsfirst.com.au.

"I'm a passionate believer about the game in this country, and that Glory still have a big part to play in it. And I want to be a part of it next year as well."

Glory head coach Ian Ferguson has already commenced the cleanout of players as he prepares for the 2011/12 season. So far, Naum Sekulovski, Howard Fondyke, Brent Griffiths and Anthony Skorich have been released whilst Aleks Vrteski, Michael Baird, Andy Todd, Tando Velaphi, Jamie Harnwell and Andrija Jukic have either moved on or retired.
