One half of the duo that owns the Perth Glory has walked out on the club. Brett McKeon bought the Glory's licence from the Football Federation of Australia in 2007 along with Tony Sage and John Spence and after Spence already left his third of the club, McKeon has done the same.
This leaves Sage in full control of the club after purchasing McKeon's share and he is determined to get the Glory back on track.
"I have a deep passion for Perth Glory and I'm wholeheartedly committed to taking this club back to the top of Australian football," Sage said.
"Perth Glory is well positioned to make the coming season its best yet.
"There are some really exciting players we're talking to at the moment which will boost our performances on the field while the support from our corporate partners and the West Australian football community continues to very enthusiastic.
"I'm definitely excited about the future of Perth Glory."
