Perth Glory officials have indicated that veteran striker Robbie Fowler will remain at the club past this season.
The 35-year old former Liverpool star is currently in his second A-League season, following his one-year stint with North Queensland Fury, but has been tipped to return to the UK following the 2010/11 campaign with the Glory.
However, Perth chief executive Paul Kelly has revealed that the nine-goal forward looks likely to go around for the Western Australian club next season.
"Robbie's indicated he wants to stay," Kelly said.
"He's got a few personal things he's got to get through. He's got to speak to his wife and kids for a start and he heads to Dubai for a few days to spend some time with his family.
"Let's see what happens after that.
"Robbie loves this place, he enjoys the team, he enjoys the boys," he added.
"Robbie's been a pleasure this year, he's been absolutely fantastic, we as a club would no doubt want him to stay."
