Wayne Srhoj has signed a new deal with Perth Glory through to 2010. "Wayne is influential on the pitch and can dictate the play, he is constantly trying to better himself and I'm sure we'll see even more of what he has to offer next season," Glory coach Dave Mitchell said.

"A sign of a good player is not being caught on the ball and he doesn't allow that to happen. Wayne has good vision, plays things simple and doesn't over elaborate, he is a smart footballer.

"He takes people on at the right times and has a good finish when he gets in dangerous areas.

"There are a several other players we're talking to and I think with guys like Wayne showing their loyalty and wanting to be a part of Perth Glory next season it is a positive sign."
