Chelsea have tabled a bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
In a sure sign they expect to lose Thibaut Courtois this summer, Il Messaggero says a family member of Alisson's was in London over the weekend for negotiations with Chelsea officials.
And Chelsea have since tabled an opening offer of €50m to Roma for the Brazil No1.
The response has been Chelsea must go higher - with Roma anticipating an auction for Alisson to take his price beyond €90m.
Real Madrid and PSG are also in contact with Roma for the shot-stopper.
Adding further to Chelsea plans is news this morning that an agent connected to Alisson's camp is in London this morning to continue negotiations.
