AS Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta admits Monday's derby against Lazio will be decisive to their Euro hopes.

Only three points currently separate them from rivals Lazio and the two clubs go head-to-head on Monday evening in Serie A.

"It is a very difficult game and we go into it during a tough period, but we know the dangers the derby holds," said Perrotta.

"We are preparing for this game, knowing full well how much it means to the fans and the whole city. It will be fundamental for Europe, but not our last chance saloon for qualification."
